Nice setup, but I do have a suggestion. I carry three bikes on the back of my Westy using a Rhode Gear rack, which is also supported by the door only. I have developed a lot more piece of mind using a length of rope with a bit of slack in it run over the top of the van to one of the luggage tiedowns on the front of the van. I've never had a problem with the rack, but if it should happen to let loose, it will only drop a few inches. Enough for me to feel and see that there is a problem.
