Don't know what area you are interested in or what activities but I recommend
(based on nice facilties,
and peaceful views)


Locust Lake State Park
Rickerts Glen State Park
Bull Island State Park (small relatively unknown park on a small island in the
Delaware River by New Hope PA.




These are all on the estern side and make good week-end trips.
