I could not install the cantilevered flat metal bar which holds the battery in place in my 1984 Vanagon. The previous battery was an Autobahn, and I remember having difficulty installing it. The new battery is from Canadian Tire and measures almost the same, but I couldn't get the metal bar in place. Does anyone have any tricks to get it in?

Thanks, Shelby shelby.brumelle@ubc.ca
