Yep, as stated the poor guy was in shock and a benevolent soul would wait for a recovery and then a possible offer. But this is coming from a 30+ year VOLUNTEER fireman and 12 yr VOLUNTEER member of a local emergency squad who has donated 1000s of hours. Take it for what it's worth.
