Thanks for all your help everyone, but since I lost a rod in my 86 GL, I
need to rethink if I'm going to keep the Vanagon, I would like too but
my wife thinks it's going to keep giving us problems, maybe she's right.

Ken, if I decide to keep the Van, when I'm ready to replace the engine
I'll be in touch as it will be replaced with a 5 cylinder.

So for the mean time, please remove me from the list.
