> I thought it was latched! Until it opened on the highway. BTDT! I was pulling up an on-ramp to an expressway that was much higher than the road I was on. Going about 30 moh. When I reached the top of the ramp, the very high wind in "The Valley" of South Texas caught the top and popped, I should say, POPPED!, the top up. Fortunately, my wife was with me so I had to act cool, like that was normal. Needless to say, I was a little startled too. We had left the campsite a few miles back. When I put the top down, Leigh usually goes around to be sure I got all the canvas pulled in. She was off doing something else so I went around and looked myself. Must have got distracted and forgot to pull the latch down until it clicks. I will not forget that again... |
