There is no cold start valve on an '84 waterboxer. The cold start enrichment is provided by the coolant temperature sensor. Also there is an auxilliary air regulator fitted below the air intake bellows which increases the amount of air entering the engine when it is cold, to increase the idle. Do your plugs get wet with fuel when you crank it a lot ? Steve |
