I'm thinking of updating the look of my 87 Vanagon Westfalia with some 15" wheels. I am aware of the South Africian produced alloy wheel, ( 15" x 6.5" ) "Sunburst Alloy" sold by, Van-Again. (vanagain.com) Are these advisable ? Also are the 15" alloys from the Carat Vanagon superior ? So far I know I need a diameter of 6.5 to 7 with a 30mm offset. What are the advantages and disadvantages. Also I need to know which tire brand and size is recommendable. Can I go 205 x 15 to 215 X 15 ? What profile tire do I need to maintain my speedometer reading and sidewall strenght ? Come on guys I know some of you are running 15's with success, let me know VIELEN DANK |
