Re bad experience with Yokohamas
Just wanted to confirm that I too installed these tires (Yokohama 370s) just before a 13,000 kilometer trip earlier this year. I replaced worn out Continentals that were also light truck and were pretty good. The Yokos are better and I get great crosswind stability on my 90 Westy. I have found the Yokos as good as expected and I (like you) expected a lot. I am happy as a clam with them (thats pretty happy if you don't know any clams... OK sorry about the clam reference I know what you are thinking) I would really like to hear listmembers thoughts on why such a bad experience with your set of tires. Could one bad tire in the four cause the problems you are having. Could you phone Yoko technical support and ask for suggestions. If you were close I would lend you mine to try for a few weeks just to see if there is a fdifference. Ron Mighton Toronto, Canada |
