Hi guys,

I made a remark sometime ago that the previous owner of my Syncro said the
15"wheels were Merc wheels.
Well. I've confirmed it. A very old established VW business in Australia ,
"Muller & Muller VW" have confirmed that they are indeed Merc wheels. 15"
Steel. Center needs no mods  to clear hubs , but stud holes need drilling
from the original 12mm to 14mm? to take the VW wheel nuts.  They told me
they have a pile of them "out the back" so I just might get a second set
for my new set of mud tires. A$50 each.


I'll measure up the width of the wheels tomorrow. I currently have 215/75
15" Michelin Road tyres with no clearance problems at all.....wheel to
guards that is!!
