Well, welcome to the business world. Basically my view is you don't get something for nothing. Owning a business is great...no one tells you what to do, you can show up barefoot or in your underwear and no one can tell you to get lost....however, the "other" side of business is there too and it's your responsibility. The customer is always right, not everyone is honest, not everyone pays their bills and as a business owner you must face this. As for myself, I will gladly tell the customer he/she is right and I'm wrong, and I will gladly try to chase down delinquent accounts or just write them off as "hey, I got taken". Yes I lose sleep over it, yes it can get stressful but all the while I'll be barefoot and in my underwear (usually only figuratively) and never, ever look back. mark
