Yes, as you read in the subject line, VW is supposed to release a new
1,9 TDI with unit injection, 150 hp and a whopping 320 Nm @ 1900 rpm,
that is even more torque than the 2,5 V6 TDI!!! The new TDI will be
released after the IAA Frankfurt Car Show that starts Monday. This show
is THE SHOW for the German car industry, and is venue for many
premieres. The 150 is to be released in the Golf, but there is very
little information out just before the show. Only time will tell if
these rumors are true. Btw, I read them on the web site of the German
car magazine "Auto Motor und Sport" which can be found at
