According to the 1988 owners manual I have in front of me, the 2wd poptop is 207,5 cms (81,7"), the Syncro 14" poptop is 210,5 cms (82,9") and the Syncro 16" poptop is 213,5 cms (84,1") So it seems like your Westy is a bit too high, sorry. If you put on lowering springs, it should go just barely!
