Made from '80 to '91, imported no more, Vanagons crave attention from roof to floor. Air-cooled or water, the engine debate rages, but alas they came not with enough factory gauges. Subaru and Chevy motors give our vans much more power. List Question: "Don't all Westfalias come with a shower???" The Syncro, a van with four-wheel potential, has hill-climbing abilities that are near exponential! Yet my basic 7 passenger is a wonderful van, and, yes, this comes from a Volkswagen fan!
