Thank -you all for the help on my '84 Vanagon, this a.m.  I did get it
going!! WOOOO-hooooo!!!!   I'm not sure which it was but I installed a new
ignition module and battery and it fired right up. Thanks to ALL that
replied I really appreciate the great bunch of folks on this N.G.  I guess I
have been in DIESEL mode for too long!  Very greatful! Tom
