COBY,

I have an '86 Syncro with twin Interstates, both about one year old. They work fine. My second battery is not the Westy Aux set up but a separate battery with its own positive cable to the starter that can be switched in or out on the negative side with a manual battery switch.

The Syncro is also equipped with a built-in "Battery Pal" trickle charger that maintains 1.260 SG in both batteries when I am driving other vehicles.

I believe in a battery company whose telephone number is 1 800 CRANK IT!

JP
