it will not work. the problem is, you made the mistake in getting one from a Carat, which has the plastic side panels. did you get the plastic sidepanels and the spacers too? if so, it will work. if not, then it wont. the reason is that the Carat weekender sofabed is shorter in width than the regular GL weekender sofabed, becaue the plastic sidepanels sticking out from the walls on the Carat require the Carat rear sofabed to be shorter in width.... if you had gotten one from a '85-'91 GL weekender 7 passenger van - it would be a bolt right in installation with no mods, providing you got the bolts too (theyre special bolts to mount the rear weekender sofabed)
