I am glad I am not the only one to do this. Years ago I left the Beverly Beach campground on the Oregon coast to to into town. Meandered all through the campground and up to the highway. Entered Highway 101 and as I got up to speed there was a loud roaring noise in the back. I had left the top up on my '68 Westy, which was hinged from the front. The wind buffeting shook the dickens out of it but no damage. I made the mistake of telling my wife and I still hear about this gaff!

Must be something about the Oregon coast . . .
