Hi all,

Just curious if anyone knows what I may have done to piss off the VW gods.

Since last night, I have lost my brake master cylinder, radiator fan, heater fan switch, and speedometer.

Pedal slowly goes to the floor (sometimes quicker than that). Found this out on a downhill freeway off-ramp!

Noticed a chirping sound from the front end, which fairly quickly turned into more of a groan and will probably become silence before much longer. Opened the heater so that I could get some engine cooling, only to find that I had no fan (or air movement when stopped at a light).

Stopped for gas and went to reset the odo. The whole speedo head fell out the back end of the housing.

This all on a day when I'm using the van for work and really cannot stop.

Looked out the window and it's raining (pouring).

Thanks, I feel better now. You guys are great!

Karl Wolz
