Your key is just worn out. If you have the key code for your keys get new ones cut and that problem will most likely go away. Don't use current key for a pattern cut it will cut a key with the worn out pattern Eric P. 1984 Westfalia(Green Hornet) ps Had this problem with my Norton motocycle and lost the key. new one cut with key code did not fall out
