Subject: Wheels and Brake kits!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I just got a nice shipment of the 15" Sunburst Alloy wheels here at my place in NJ. So if anyone in the area wants to come and pick them up they can save shipping charges. The rims are $440 for a set of 4 with the centercaps. I have about three sets left and they are going quick. If you just want to see what they look like up close you can stop by as well. I am putting a set on my Carat Vanagon since I need new tires anyway so if anyone wants a nice, used set of 14" alloys I'll take $700 for the set of 5 with or without the tires that still have some tread left on them.

The other thing is I am getting a bigger, vented, front brake kit here next week. This kit is for the 86-91 2wd Vanagons. It includes everything you need to install the rotor, including pads. It is said to be setup different than the smaller version as the rotor is removable and not a part of the front hub. This is a factory VW piece made for the Vanagons in South Africa.

The price is $575 for a list member ($600 is the normal price). The only thing is that you need 15" rims to use the bigger brakes. If you want a package deal, give me a call and maybe we can work something out. I only have one set of the brake kits (but they will be getting more in the future) and at least I can see how nice it is, etc and report back to the list on it. Tempted to put them on my Carat but that is for the future. The kit for the Syncro Vanagon and the 80-85 Vans is almost ready and I'll let the list know when these become available. Thanks Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16
