Subject: NEW 1.9 TDI and TD engines for sale COMPLETE!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I just got word that we have some factory NEW 1.9l Turbo Diesel engines and 1.9l TDI engines COMPLETE offered for sale right now. These engines come with turbo, intake, turbo pump, injectors, lines, engine harness with sensors, flywheel, and clutch assembly. You can get either the 1.9l TD engine (Code AAZ) that was offered in Diesel VWs in Canada for several years with 75 hp @ 4200 rpm and 111 ftlbs of torque at 2400-3400 rpm or the TDI engine (Code AHU) that makes 90 hp @ 4000 rpms and 149 ftlbs of torque at 1900 (a real stump puller and this motor gets excellent fuel mileage to boot!) for $3500.

The 1.9l TD is pretty much a one wire motor (that is all it needs to run) not needing any fancy computers, etc. The TDI does require an ECU which is not included (although we have a source of these and the associated harness for around $600) but gets better fuel economy and has more power and torque.

There is only a very limited number of the TDI motors available so if you want one for a future project now is the time to get one. Also the TD motors go quickly. I do accept credit cards so you can feel secure when purchasing these big ticket items and also you can buy now and pay later.

To compare power and torque the 1.9l Waterboxer is rated at 82 hp @ 4800 rpms with 105 ftlbs at 2600 rpms and the 2.1l Waterboxer is rated at 90 hp @ 5500 rpms and 117 @ 3200 rpms. These motors at best get 20 mpg. The TD engine would probably get in the high 20's in fuel economy and the TDI in the low to mid 30's (my guestimation) in a Vanagon. So you have power, torque, reliability, and fuel economy what more could you want?

These engines are perfect for a diesel Vanagon engine conversion. Please either call me at my shop at (609)-327-0027 or pmail with any questions or orders. Thanks Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16
