I agree about the camping and shop, but still I'm astounded on a daily basis how many vanagons I see. There's probably 10 in my dogwalking radius (near UW), and I've seen as many as 20 in a trip to Home Depot. I was recently in the SF area, splitting time between Oakland and Marin. I expected to see more vans than Seattle, but that wasn't the case.
