The *fix* is pretty easy. Soak the motor bearings in 20w oil, including the felt pad that presses against the inner side of the bearing. Keep the oil off the commutator and brushes. The motor has to come out of the blower housing and the fan rotor has to be drifted off the shaft, on the front blower anyway. I've never seen the rear.

Now *getting to them* -- that's another matter. Dunno about the rear, but the front is quite a nuisance as the dash has to come off and the heater box split. I'll pmail you some remarks on that.
