Dear John,

I agree that a common reason for water in the Driver's side is the lack of a good seal for the antenna as it enters the body cavity. At highway speeds, the wind forces any water right past the antenna into the interior! My rubber antenna seal was missing when I purchased the van yet I kept thinking the water I was getting was from a poor windshield seal. That is, until I got around to installing a spare antenna seal retreived from a junkyard van. Presto -- no more water!

I will be willing to bet that MANY Vanagons (like mine was) are missing this seal altogether!

As for the passsenger's side leaking, it could only be the windshield -- that or MAJOR rust-through!

Cheers,

MJS
