Not exactly. We have the rear fog light where the US cars have their brake light. We have the brake light where you have the tail light. We have the tail light where you have the cat eye. Confused? The thing is that VW used the circuit board on both sides, and just rearranged the wires. The bulb positions are equal no matter which side is top, so they only had to make one, instead of two different.
