Thanks for all your helpful input. I really appreciate humble opinions, professional opinions and humble professional opinions. Noting the lack of enthusiasm to suggest a specific substitute I concluded that you all really do stand firmly by this product so I bit the bullet and rang red-line oils in Western Australia.

For all Aussie listee's out there and all else interested in the global expansion of a good product, there is a mobile number in NSW for the warehouse in Sydney. Ring 0412 040 500 and ask for Brendan. They stock both the MTL and MT90 Red line has been here for six months and will be opening a 60 store distribution chain in December I spoke to a manager in WA he gave me the whole rundown of how good it is in such things as VW transaxles. I didn't detect any hard sell, he sounded genuinely enthusiastic. That I decided, was good enough to wait for so my order is in.

Dominic :)
