Thank you very much, Harvey. The vanagon is even better than you said. My sister is in love with it already. She has driven VW vans since her first car 17 years ago, a 69 Westy. She has resisted my suggestion of a diesel vanagon for a while but when her 83.5 started limping badly at 250k miles, the timing was right. Good luck to you and if you find that you miss the advantages of vanagon ownership too much, come on back.
