Subject: Radio in 82 Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi, List!

The antenna was non-existent and got one from a donor Vanagon. Got the grill out and...surprise! Instead of a plug in connector, the antenna had wires going to the radio. Just wires. The radio is a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo. No plug connector (female part) anywhere.

Is this an original radio? It seems like it! Got the antenna, got the radio but I really don't want to splice the antenna wire. I have considered getting another radio that is original to these vehicles. Any suggestions are welcome.
