Subject: 85 Westy bargain in St. Louis, MO
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I don't own this van or have any connection to the sellers, but thought this was a bargain that someone on the list would want. Price $3800. This is an 85 poptop Wolfsburg (rear-facing seat behind driver, folddown table) with a cabinet containing a hand-pump sink and icebox added by the owner behind the driver's seat. The addition is done quite nicely and fits in well with the van's interior. No mechanical defects that I could find on a test drive. No body damage, straight bumpers. I found one small seam rust spot and a few rust spots around the window frames, otherwise rust-free. Metallic brown. Courdoroy seats in good shape with some neatly done repairs. Canvas OK with a few repairs. Nearly new non-reinforced tires.

Auto trans. Cassette stereo with nice speakers. Overall looked and drove very nicely. No evidence of a head leak, although owner didn't think it had ever had gaskets replaced. Call the owners, not me, their names are April and Mike, 314-256-3611.
