Dave, Checking the spare tire condition and inflation pressure is part of regular maintenance and gives you the opportunity to coat this weather exposed, threaded component with weather resistant grease. I'd rather make this a maintenance item and have the spare where it is than mounted on the nose of the van or consuming interior cabin space. Think about it............. Regards, JP |
