Well, now I can say that these guys who made up the Car-O-Scope really doesn't know what they are talking about. They told me, after evaluating my test, that I really don't belong in a Vanagon. First quote: "Boy oh boy, Per, you picked a vehicle that just isn't quite right for you," Comment: Well, if this vehicle wasn't right fro me, I wouldn't be driving it, would I? I am a bachelor, I don't need to haul around a minibus. I do it by choice. Second quote: "My dear, it appears that other Volkswagen Vanagon owners just don't care as much about their cars as you do." Comment: Is this true? I refuse to believe I am the person most passionate about the Vanagon around here. Comments, anyone? Third quote: "Car-O-Scope has determined that you are a person who is quite concerned with status. And yet, you're driving a Volkswagen Vanagon. Other Volkswagen Vanagon drivers just aren't as much of a snob as you are." Comment: I am not a snob. If I had the choice, I would rather drive my 1973 Squareback each day, over the Vanagon, but I cant cause the Square is very rusty and needs rust-oration before I can use it again. So, what cars does the Car-O-Scope suggest I should be driving? Well, it suggest 5 American cars. I don't even like American cars! These are the 5: 1. Chevrolet Camaro 2. AMC Jeep 3. Ford Mustang 4. Pontiac Firebird 5. Mercury Cougar I wouldn't buy any of these, and they are way too expensive over here. The Car-O-Scope sure doesn't regard geographic criterias. My conclusion: This should not be taken seriously, it can only be meant for fun, nothing else. Oh, one of the ending lines in my result: "Don't drive that Volkswagen Vanagon for another day." Well, I very well tend to! PerL 87 Syncro 112i |
