I have a Sunpro 7680 that cost something like $120. It has all kind of neat features on there that, at the time, I figured I would need; most of which have not been used in the the three years I have had it. Still, it DOES impress the neighbors when they see it sitting in the tool box. If I had it to do again I would get just a simple digital meter with a 10 meg input impedence and the biggest display I could find. If I am typical that should take care of 95% of what is needed.
