Just as a side note, I have talked with and dealt with Forrest at German Transaxle several times. He is a very knowledgable and good guy to talk to/deal with. When I sell a rebuilt tranny it is one that these guys have done (especially now that Todd is MIA). They are little more pricey than some others but they have a really good warranty and actually add some upgraded parts in thier tranny's to try and remedy thier ailments (like a stronger piece in the Vanagon tranny that is supposed to make the common 3rd and 4th gear breakage thing, a memory and not a recurring problem). Just my 2 cents. PS If you get your tranny through me it is cheaper than if you called them directly. Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16 http://www.vanagain.com
