Good Morning fellow listers,

Power Locks: I am interested in retrofitting my 1987 Syncro Westfalia with power locks. Has anybody on the list done this? Do any of our friendly listers (or list vendors) have a Vanagon with electric locks that they are parting out where I might obtain all required paraphanalia to perform this conversion? For those of you who already have electric locks, does the rear hatch lock / unlock electrically also??

Power Windows: Any listers converted from manual to power windows?

Viscous Coupling: In August, on a ninety degree day, I loaded up the Syncro and drove to Denver with some friends. The drive duration was approximately 50 minutes at 75 to 80 mph. When I got off of the freeway, the viscous coupling was obviously engaged. After stopping for about 10 minutes, it was back in 2WD and has subsequently behaved normally. About a month later, I drove it several hundred miles on a camping vacation and experienced no further strange behavior. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Thanks, Jon
