The radio antenna could be a sign of an European model, since the radio was optional on all models here, as was the antenna. All the vans I've seen here has side mounted antenna, including mine. The antenna is a Bosch, and I recently bought a new one to relace the broken one. My previous Syncro also had this antenna, as every other T3 I've seen here. I guess it was a dealer installation, not factory as the antennas in the US.

I havent got a clue about your speedo, I looked in a 1983 owners manual I have here, but there was no info or pictures of the speedo.
