Hi Mike: The windows on my '90 have a bolt through the glass which has a tapered lead seal around it. When you snug up the bolt, the lead is compressed, and grabs the glass without stressing it too much. The head of the bolt is outside, and has a black cap on it that can be pried off with much effort. The bolt has a one way screwdriver slot in it, so you can't take it off - vise grips work well here. If the lead seal is not right, get a new one and install it. Otherwise the water is coming from the glass-rubber joint, and perhaps a new wind wing seal is needed.
