Subject: Car-O-Scope - Another Incompatible, flaky, cheapskate here...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hey Volks,

I gave in to curiosity and took that silly survey on Car-Talk. Here's what I got back:

"Have no fear, Car-O-Scope is here to save you from a life of misery, depression and hemorrhoidal flare-ups. ... It's quite possible that the car-o-scope has discovered some hidden and/or repressed aspects of your personality."

1. AMC Jeep 2. Volkswagen Bus 3. Chevrolet Camaro 4. Dodge Colt Vista 5. Volvo 244

"So, let's look at your compatibility profile vis-a-vis the Dodge Colt Vista. If you dumped that Volkswagen Vanagon and got yourself a Dodge Colt Vista, you'd be a lot happier."

Now.... I know for a fact that those Dodge Colt Vistas have several design flaws, maintenance issues and are just to plain small for my 6' 5" 265 lb frame. You can forget sitting in the 'bathtub' of a Camaro...I'd kill myself climbing in and out of it... Jeeps are okay...but have their own set of problems.... Volvos are okay...but just not for me. I do like that fact that the #2 selection is a VW Bus.... I learned to drive on a 74...have a soft spot in my heart for 'em... it's just my whole family had Bugs, Rabbits, and Vans... you get used to their sounds and quirks... and miss them when they're gone...

So I guess I join the rest of you volks who have come to the conclusion that this survey is purely for entertainment and not based on any scientific process.

I just wonder how the people on the Colt Vista list are fairing?
