I have an '84 Wolfsburg edition Westfalia camper that now runs well thanks to the help from Coby Smolens and Darrell Boehler who helped me determine that my ECU was not bad after all. However my complaint is as follows: I live in the SE and a/c is absolutely essential during summer. My van has the "added on at the port of entry" air conditioning I think. Anyhow its mounted to the cabinetry at the rear of the van and blows forward. It is functional but darned noisy and very ineffective if you are sitting at the opposite end af the van i.e in the drivers seat. I can just about feel it if I very carefully aim the nozzles but am deafened by the high fan setting which reminds me of a 747. There is always a little bit of leakage around the front vents which allows the hot and very humid air to enter when driving. I had thought about making some ductwork to get the cool air up to where it is desired but I kind of feel that others before me must have been just as ticked off as me and have come up with a good solution already. Does anyone have a good fix for this ? I may well get rid of this vehicle because of this shortcoming but I like it otherwise.

Thanks for your ideas Steve
