Subject: Infant Carseat Recommendations?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Dear all,

I've looked back at some of the posts regarding child carseat installations. Nobody has recommended a particular seat. I know they change from year to year and now US Gov is requiring new cars to have a tether anchorage. New seats will have the tether, but these are only for front-facing seats, I believe.

I need to get an infant seat (rear-facing) with removeable seat/base for the fixed-back middle seat of my westy which has only lapbelts. Anybody know which current-market carseats would fit well?

It sounds like each seat has it's peculiararities regarding fitment. The best method is to try one so I thought I'd ask the list which ones you've tried.

I still need grey and black westy headrests. This may be what I use for a tether anchor someday. -- Thanks, David Bogle Brooklyn '87 Syncro Westfalia 6-Passenger with 3 headrests.
