I need a quick tutorial or data dump from someone on the list of the best
way to get heavy parts (e.g., 300lbs) shipped from Europe to the USA.


What I need to know is:


1. Least expensive shipment method (by ship)


2. Customs and import hassles


3. Should I use a customs broker or freight forwarding service?


4. Will I save money by picking the shipment up at the harbor in New York
or Baltimore?
