Subject: Almost lost the Westy today!

Last night in the fog and rain I backed out of my steep driveway which was cut on the side of a mountain. I went off the driveway and started sliding down the incline. Well I ended with two right wheels and half the van on the driveway, the other half going down the mountain. I would estimate it to have been tilted 35 to 40 degrees by the morning. This morning it had sunk more into the incline due to an all night rain. AAA thought it was a gonner but managed to save it by pulling it forward down the driveway with a couple of helpers holding it down. It was very intense. I was a nervous wreck. Saved...thank god...
