I would even consider the Syncro to bve more stable on snow than the quattro I used to own. Now, that wasnt exactly the biggest Audi, it was an '84 Audi 80 (4000) with a 2,0 with 115 hp. The smallest 5-cyl quattro Audi ever built. OTOH, the big Syncro doesnt exactly have the rally-car feeling on snow that the quattro did :-)
