Just when life was good, (again), im driving my 89 wolfsburg edition gl, no poptop, 
then after a few minutes it stalls. no sputter, cough, complaint of any kind. i let it sit for half hour, and off we go for another 5-10 minutes, then KLUNK! nothing! dead. after 30-40 minutes it starts up great. this proccess got me across town, 
without making any friends, and home again. i recently changed the fuel filter.
i wish the archives were up again, i know i see this kind of prob over and over again
on the list.
any thoughts would be appreciated
