Most probably a viscous coupling needing replacement.

May be related to the above plus perhaps the front axle needing a new alignment.

Various possible reasons (from cheap to expensive):

shifting linkage needing alignment

rubber mountings of engine and/or gearbox worn out

gearbox needing repair
