This is just one of the "many" things that I love about this list.

Throw an idea out there, and who knows where it will end up.

I really like the ideas, and suggestions that my idea has fostered. Certianly the list would be a great asset to all. Lets go with it.

As I read the many varied professions and walks of life that we all are from, I am nothing less than amazed. We have it all. Professor's, med student's, engineer's, machinest, computer's, and on and on, even a RV (here comes the dirty words) sales manager (me). I'm thinking we could all get together and make our own town, county, state, country, and we'd have enough diversity and experience to make it work, and I will go so far as to say work better than most. And, the common thread is of course, the Vanagon. That wonderful, crazy, machine that we all love/hate/admire/and even flaunt in front of our friends and family.

Think about this: how many others would say to a total stranger "if your ever in the area stop by, use my drive way, if you break down I'll come and help you." I'm sure there are many Ford owners who experience the same, yea right.

In closing I'd like to say that I'm proud to know you one and all. Proud to be a member of this community of Human Beings (from the Greek to "Be Humane"). And for what it's worth I'll add in my stats:

Ron Semko, 53 years old, husband to a wonderful wife named Scarlet, and the very proud father of three boys: Loren 11, Rhett 9, and Roman 7. Currently the show team sales manager for the largest RV dealership in Central Florida. Formally an Air Force Officer and Pilot.

I reside in Orlando, Florida (AKA a mouse trap for people, but alot of fun too.) So, If any of you are passing through, or residing nearby, give me a shout.

Ron Semko Orlando, Florida
