Subject: head gaskets/cylinder seals
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi All... and thanks for all the information and support... so far!

I'm still researching the leaky engine problem before tearing the heads off (I'm sure I'm leaking at the heads). Many people seem to have replaced head gaskets without pulling pistons and sealing sleeves but some of the literature suggests that this is a normal part of the job. I'm wondering if it is advisable to take care of the cyliner seals while I have the heads off or if this nonprofessional is asking for trouble by pulling pistons.
