I believe Euro Campers can also order one that's pretty close to what you're looking for, although Steve doesn't show it on the web site. The one on the web site is Reimo #61003; I recently finished installing one on my van. (It needed a lot of modification, in order to get around my air conditioner hoses - it's made for vans without A/C.) It's well made, and I'm happy with it.

Reimo tank #61002 is designed to fit in the space you described (or maybe in the similar space on the driver's side, if there were no propane tank?). It holds 60 liters, and its dimensions are roughly 1340 mm long x 310 wide x 200 high (roughly because it's irregularly shaped to fit the space). Reimo's price is DM 139, vs. DM 119 for the #61003 (which Steve sells for $95 including shipping).

Reimo sells about 50 different tanks, including 4 specifically for the Vanagon. Besides the two already described, there's a 45 liter one that's about 950 x 320 x 180 mm (#61000), and a roughly cubical 40 liter fresh water tank (#61001).

You might want to get more information from Steve Lashley at ThingGuy@aol.com.
