This is another reason that I had the exhaust ceramic coated. To keep the metal coolant pipe from being damaged from heatbecause it is so close to the exhaust. The heat can damage the pipe to failure. I would keep an eye on it, and if it looks bad enough think about replacing the metal pipe, a rubber hose might not survive long near the exhaust pipe. Robert
