I read a post recently about clutch chatter and the cause being a worn clutch fork. I can not get my westy started on any incline without it slamming away. The same thing happens if you try to take off quick...starts bucking and slamming (doesn't sound healthy). The only time i get into gear smooth is on a slight downhill so that i release the clutch with no additional gas. Doed this sound like the clutch fork? If so how would i check/verify this, do i have to take out the tranny and have a look ? Thanks john
